I was highly skeptical of this remake of my FAVORITE show from the 80's. Yet, at the same time I was extremely excited by the idea of a remake. The POSSIBILITIES were just endless.... so, I sat with my older two this evening to watch the first episode of the remake with bated breath....
It was fast-paced, engaging, and covered the made-for-tv-movies that kicked off the whole thing way back in the day..... and then they added the twist. And then another. And then ANOTHER!
And all of this left me saying, OMFG!!!! I need more!!
So, my overall opinion of the new/remade series "V", if they can keep up the pace they started it with, is FUCK YEAH! :yourock::Headbanger:

I have likes and dislikes. I don't like change, so that's pretty hard for me.
The ships are MUCH improved!
Anna isn't hot enough. (Diana was HOT damit!)
That is all for now. (I'm preventing the flu by plying myself with vodka-laden sunny delight! hehehe)

:yikes: are you fucking kidding me?!? That's Inara from Firefly....she's incredible!! i was highly impressed with the show, finally something on network tele worth watching....3 thumbs up, 2 for the show and 1 for Anna's butt

Well I haven't seen the original so I don't have anything to compare it too, but I loved the show! I can't wait to see how it plays out.

I agree, Anna is definitely NOT Vampy like Lydia was, but she's pretty hot. I think I understand what they were going for. Lydia always seemed ominous, you KNEW she wasn't right. Anna is supposed to look wholesome and clean with that touch of sex--but not untrustworthy. Hell, you saw how she flipped the fuck out when she thought the reporter was going to ask her leading questions!
Great twists. I'm SO thrilled with the first episode I cannot express myself properly.

I heard it was good. If they make more episodes, maby I'll check it out.
