It kicked ass! Beautifully done.

If you see it in 3D, it was done fantastically! There was a point where we fliched at what was flying at us and several times wanted to swat at or wave something away.

The CGI was awesome and I can't recall anything that was even remotely cheesy looking.

One of my friends described it as Dances With Wolves meets Full Metal Jacket.

It's one I could watch multiple times.

It was...eh.

Fern Gully in space.

The plot was serviceable, if unoriginal. The CG and creations of Pandora were pretty to look at, but again, nothing I haven't seen before--in fact, I was recalling specific scenes in games I'd played in the past.

Action wise, it was fantastic, as James Cameron movies generally are. I felt like the 3D detracted from the movie; it came across as hamfisted in a lot of places, and there were several times I had to take the glasses off and rub my eyes.

All in all, a solid movie, though. I'd watch it again. But...I wasn't impressed.

Me and a group of freinds had the after movie conversation and Fern Gully and Dances with wolves were the two movies we talked about the most.
