I nominate this guy for the golden goat ass!
If he was a seasoned hunter he should have KNOWN that it wasn't dead. A seasoned hunter knows that deer like to fake it when they are down. The very first clue is if their eyes are closed. The second is if their tongue is NOT hanging out. If the eyes are closed and the tongue is not hanging out the damn thing isn't dead! Even my 13 year old daughter who have never shot a deer knows that info. and with a 270 the first 2 shots must have been really bad shots! If the shot is right, it's a one shot one kill. A 270 is a hell of a powerful rifle. That's what Robert was using when he took down the deer that's on our wall. All I can say is that this guy must be the WORST hunter ever, either that or he isn't as seasoned as he let on to be.

SEDALIA, Mo. – A hunter bagged a big buck on the second day of firearms season, but the kill caused him a lot of pain. Randy Goodman, 49, said he thought two well-placed shots with his .270-caliber rifle had killed the buck on Nov. 19. Goodman said the deer looked dead to him, but seconds later the nine-point, 240-pound animal came to life.
The buck rose up, knocked Goodman down and attacked him with his antlers in what the veteran hunter called "15 seconds of hell." The deer ran a short distance and went down, and died after Goodman fired two more shots.
Soon Goodman started feeling dizzy and noticed his vest was soaked in blood.
So he reached his truck and drove to a hospital, where he received seven staples in his scalp and was treated for a slight concussion and bruises.
