Sue me next!
Optycal Illusion
Tang turned me onto this website
where they showcase stories from all over regarding Political Correctness.
As most of my readers know, I am as far from politically correct as one can
get without being racist, anti-gay, anti-Christian or anti-any-god-damned-thing.
Each article is taken from real news sources and just throws the moronic PC
views out there for the world to see.
One such article was about a man suing his school (East Tennessee State
University) for making him read a book he called racist. He said he was offended
by the discussions in class regarding the book and he thinks he deserves to
be compensated for it… to the tune of 3 MILLION dollars. GIVE ME A FUCKING
BREAK! We all have to read books we don’t like; it’s part of going to school!
I can remember my dad bitching about reading “The Handmaid’s Tale”, but he
didn’t SUE for sexual discrimination.
The book is called “The Bell Curve” by Richard J. Herrnstein and Charles
Murray, and was required reading for one of Mack Edward Scott’s graduate
classes. The 48-year-old black guy is offended by the book’s suggestion that
there are significant differences in intelligence among the races. I’m sure
the book touches on other things, I have not read it myself, but the fact
this man is suing the school for this is a perfect example that the book
is probably right, at least in the case of Mr. Scott. He claims when he voiced
his opinions in class (and most likely in his schoolwork) he was dismissed
and told he was “intellectually inadequate and unqualified to present evidence
that refuted” the book. I’d like to add here the man’s grade point average
is 2.85 according to the main article.
According to another article on the matter, “"There's a history of meritless
lawsuits that have been brought by Scott” SOURCE:
Kingsport Times News
. So not only is this guy a textbook example of what the “Offending” book
was describing, he’s a whiny bitch too! “Meritless lawsuits” meaning this
guy is sue-happy, don’t you dare give him a disapproving look or he’ll take
you to court for being a RACIST!
Why is it in this day and age, anyone can start a lawsuit against anyone
else for stupid shit? So what if the book says blacks are less intelligent?
Instead of starting a lawsuit against the school (or even the authors) why
not prove them wrong and blow them away with your advanced intellect? Don’t
you think it’s more productive and makes a better point when you PROVE THE
BOOK WRONG than to take people to court because your feelings are hurt?
Am I alone here when I say the litigious nature of America is getting out
of hand? I mean lets look at it from a global standpoint. Other countries
are looking at our news stories of people like this suing for no good reason
and just laughing their Asses off. They must think America is full of whiny
bitches…. Which I’d have to agree with at this point! Get a grip people,
just because someone writes a scientific (or even non-scientific) article
or book or passage or graffiti about your race, religion, sexual preference
or type of cereal you eat for breakfast does not mean it’s TRUE. If you get
all up in arms about it, you’re just proving them right! Be the bigger person
and go against the racial slurs, the sexual finger pointing, the insults
and the attempts to put you down. If you fail to hold yourself above all
the crap, then you are no better than those spewing the “offensive” things.
I’d like to sue my old boss for not promoting me. It doesn’t matter that
I wasn’t as highly qualified as the person who got the job, I’m just offended
that I didn’t get it! By not promoting me to a position I am severely under-qualified
to hold they are implying I am less intelligent, I am less of a person than
the highly qualified and deserving person who got the promotion! I want
$3 million for that.
Give me a break Mr. Scott and everyone else out there that is crying for
lawsuits and monetary compensation for your aches and pains caused by your
inferiority complex. It’s all about everyone else causing you to be less
than the next guy isn’t it? It can’t possibly be that you are overly sensitive
and trying to get rich off of PC overload can it?
